Formulating and evaluating policies relating to Pensions Service
Process payments of pensions and gratuities under the old scheme.
Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date personnel records for pensioners of the Civil Service.
Co-ordinate Civil Service Pensions Scheme/ Funds
Offer pension consultancy service to other government agencies.
Follow-up on reimbursement claims from Federal Government in conjunction with the Office of the Head of Service.
Organize Verification for pensioners.
Maintain relationship with Lagos State Pensions Board
Workshops & Seminars
Organising per-retirement workshop for Retiring Civil Servants.
Any other duty as may be assigned by the Governor.
The Civil Service Pensions Office presently comprises four (4) departments and five (5) units as follows
